This is Shawn's story.

Two years ago, the Army veteran was battling an addiction to heroin, suffering from PTSD, and facing a 20-year prison sentence. 

 

Today, he is a top 5 trail runner in the the state of Texas, and preparing for the race of his life.

 

Shawn knows the strength of his inner addict all too well. Time after time it has broken him down mentally, physically, and emotionally.
